THE TASTING NOTES
Devil's Bridge started with the distinctive flavour of Bara Brith. Created by our Welsh master distiller, this is a spiced rum with familiar nostalgic flavours. A blend of our base Caribbean rum is brought to Wales for distillation in our copper pot still, where it is steeped in a unique combination of botanicals and spices. Glengettie Black Tea for depth of flavour, Bara Brith for sweetness and Shirgar Carmarthenshire Butter for smoothness. Devil's Bridge is an outstanding Rum that can be enjoyed on its own over ice, served long with a mixer or as a first class kick in any cocktail.

FLAVOUR PROFILE

Nose:
First hit with the aroma of molasses, dark chocolate and oak Then baked caramelised bananas emerge
Followed by buttered Bara Brith

Mouth:
The baking spices give the rum a complex and exciting spectrum of flavours. The molasses and spiced banana esters take a back seat in the mouth
but are ever-present.

Finish:
Similar to a complex single malt whisky, the astringency of the oak cast tempers the sweet vanilla notes that give the rum an unexpected dryness at the end.
