Description
The new venture of Moraitis Estate is an amphora-aged Monemvasia wine. Fruit is sourced from a vineyard in Agioi Anargyroi, which is organically farmed with respect to the cultivating tradition of the island of Paros.
- Spontaneous fermentation in amphoras of 250lt and 500lt. The wine stays with the skins for 6 months.
- Unfiltered and unfined with no added sulphites.
- The use of amphora adds the mineral element to the stone-fruity character of the variety.
- The palate is lively, salty with a vein of acidity.
- A promising new effort from Paros. Produced in just 1.500 bottles.
