The Les Forges vineyard is located at the heart of the village of Meursault on a soft, south-east oriented slope with stony soil that warms up during the day. Fermented in 1/3 new oak barrels and then aged for at least 15 months on fine lees before bottling. 

The most recent addition to the Louis Jadot stable, the original Prieur family estate was established in 1804 in the heart of Santenay by brothers Claude and Jean with the vineyards of the Brunet family in Meursault were combined to make Domaine Prieur-Brunet in 1955 when their descendant Guy Prieur married Elizabeth Brunet.
